Vernon Vipers forward, Kellen Jones took a puck to the face last night after a point shot from Vipers d-man, Dan Nycholat caught Jones in the face. Vipers head coach-gm, Mark Ferner mentioned in tonights pre game show that Kellen is in surgery at Kelowna Hospital as we speak, no word as of yet as to how long Jones will be out of the Vipers lineup. Jones currently has (7-29-36) in 26 games with Vernon this year.
