Canada received goals from Shawn Heins of Eganville, Ont., Kurtis McLean of Kirkland Lake, Ont., and Jean-Pierre Vigier of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Man.
Canada and Dynamo Minsk traded goals in the first period before the Belarusians broke it open with a pair of goals in the second.
