The Cowichan Valley Capitals are pleased to announce they have acquired 18 year old Chris Daniels from the Weyburn Red Wings for forward Drew George. The 6'0, 185 lbs Daniels, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba is having an excellent rookie campaign scoring 13 goals and added 11 assists in 37 games.
"Chris is excited about playing in the BCHL and he will have a tremendous opportunity to contribute here," stated Head Coach Dale Purinton. "Chris is a gritty right winger who hustles at both ends of the ice. He has played in all situations for the Red Wings which includes scoring 5 power play goals''. "We are very pleased to have Chris join our Club."
