McIntosh was the goaltender for the Canucks who won the 1995 Centennial Cup with a 5-4 overtime victory over the Gloucester Rangers.

McIntosh a Calgary native played two seasons with his hometown Canucks from 1994-1996.

McIntosh played four seasons at Augsburg College before signing his first professional contract with the UHL Quad City Mallards in 2001. McIntosh played parts of five seasons in the UHL with six different teams from 2001-2006 before retiring from professional hockey.

McIntosh played one season in Vernon with the 1996-97 Vernon Vipers. In 40 games, McIntosh went 24-13 with 2 shutouts and a 3.22 GAA
