Former Vipers Prospect Buenaventura Commits To Mount Royal University:

Former Vernon Vipers prospect/goaltender Ethan Buenaventura has

committed to the Mount Royal Cougars.

Buenaventura split the 2024-25 with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen & BCHL Penticton Vees. 

Buenaventura played parts of four seasons with the Hitmen before being released November 5th 2024.  The Penticton Vees acquired the BCHL playing rights to Buenaventura from the Cowichan Capitals November 14th 2024. In 18 games with the Penticton Vees, Buenaventura went 13-1 with a 2.11 GAA

The Vernon Vipers owned the playing rights to goaltender Ethan Buenaventura. The Vernon Vipers traded the playing rights of Ethan Buenaventura to the Cowichan Capitals November 8th 2024 for forward Noah Grolnic. Buenaventura never played a game with the Vipers.
