named former Vernon Vipers Head Coach/GM Mike Vandekamp new Head Coach/GM.

Vandekamp didn't coach during the 2024-25 season. Vandekamp last coached the Cowichan Capitals during the 2023-24 season.

Vandekamp played three years of Junior hockey in Fort St. John and Prince George from 1990-1993 before getting into coaching in 1995. Vandekamp made his coaching debut with the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League Fort St. John Huskies in 1995. Vandekamp has coached in the RMJHL, BCHL, AJHL & WHL for the past twenty nine seasons with nine teams (Fort St. John, Fernie, Merritt, Vernon, Nanaimo, Powell River, Prince George, Grande Prairie & Cowichan).

Vandekamp was Head Coach/GM of the Vernon Vipers from 2001-2005 before leaving for the Western Hockey League's Prince George Cougars in 2005.
