The ECHL Florida Everblades announced the team’s protected list of players

from the 2024-25 season. This is the first of a several-step process that ECHL teams use to begin building their rosters for the 2025-26 season. The Everblades have twenty five players listed on their Protected List, one is former Vernon Vipers forward Jesse Lansdell.

The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. Competitively, it is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The league serves as a farm system to the AHL and the National Hockey League (NHL).
Lansdell played the past two seasons with the ECHL Florida Everblades. In 60 games, Lansdell collected (15-goals-24-assists-39-points).
Lansdell played five seasons at the University of Notre Dame & University of Nebraska-Omaha from 2019-2024 before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Florida Everblades April 1st 2024.
Lansdell played parts of three seasons with the Vernon Vipers from 2016-2019. The Vipers traded defenceman Mitch Oliver October 15th 2016 to the Chilliwack Chiefs for Jesse Lansdell. In 127 games with the Vipers, Lansdell collected (31-goals-60-assists-91-points).
