The ECHL Jacksonville Icemen announced the team’s season-ending roster

from the 2024-25 season. This is the second of a several-step process that teams use to begin building their rosters for the 2025-26 season. The Icemen have nineteen players listed on their season-ending roster, one is former Vernon Vipers forward Liam Coughlin.
The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. Competitively, it is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The league serves as a farm system to the AHL and the National Hockey League (NHL).

Coughlin played the 2024-25 season with the Jacksonville Icemen, his first season with the Icemen. The Icemen signed Coughlin August 14th 2024. In 50 games last season, Coughlin collected (15-goals-16-assists-31-points).
The Icemen is Coughlin's eighth team since 2019. Coughlin played four seasons at Vermont University from 2015-2019 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Rockford IceHogs May 19th 2019.
Coughlin was drafted 130th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in Round 5 at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Coughlin didn't play a game with the Oilers, was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks July 6th 2015. Coughlin has yet to play a game with the Blackhawks.
Coughlin played two seasons in Vernon from 2013-2015. In 107 games with the Vipers, Coughlin collected (38-goals-67-assists-105-points).
