Former Vernon Vipers Assistant Coach, Colin O'Hara is resigning as Head Coach-GM of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. O'Hara was an Assistant Coach with the 2007-08 Vernon Vipers. O'Hara was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in round 9 #226 overall in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.

Colin O’Hara has announced today that he is resigning from his position as Head Coach and General Manager of the SilverBacks. Coach O’Hara would like to thank owners Randy and Terry Williams for the opportunity they provided him with the SilverBacks during the past 2 seasons.
O’Hara will be leaving the Salmon Arm SilverBacks organization to pursue other coaching opportunities. He would like to thank the players, the billets, the fans and the corporate sponsors for their support during this past season and wish the best of luck to the organization in the future.
The SilverBacks would like to thank Colin for his contribution to the organization over the past two seasons and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
