Former Vernon Vipers goaltender, Lucas Gore played in his final Junior Hockey League game Saturday night as the 20 yr old goaltender and the Chilliwack Bruins season come to an end with a 6-4 loss to the Spokane Chiefs. Spokane went on to win the series in five games. Gore played one season in Vernon (2007-08) before joining the Chilliwack Bruins the following season.

Blake Gal scored a hat trick as the Spokane Chiefs beat the Chilliwack Bruins 6-4 to close out their first round playoff series in five games in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.
Mitch Holmberg scored a pair for Spokane, while Levko Koper added a goal and two assists.
Dylen McKinlay had two goals for Chilliwack. Kevin Sundher scored and added two assists, while Robin Soudek also counted.
James Reid made 21 saves for Spokane, while Lucas Gore turned away 37 shots.
