After reading about 17 year old defenceman, Geoff Crisfield who committed to the Vernon Vipers last week for next season I really like from what I have heard and read so far on the young d-man.
The Vipers will be losing veteran d-men, Adam Thompson, Steve Weinstein, Malcolm Lyles and Ryan Renz after this season. Leaving the Vipers with just three returning d-men, Brett Corkey, Phillip Patenaude and Max Mowat so Vernon will be looking for some spots to fill on the backend.
I really like Geoff Crisfield's size and toughness. It sounds like he likes to play physical and isnt afraid of the rough going. After watching some highlights on youtube it looks like Geoff can skate and has a pretty good shot.
