Doyle Cup Game 3 Preview: Spruce Grove @ Vernon:

Tonight is Game 3 of the Doyle Cup and the final home game of the season for the six time National Champion Vernon Vipers. Spruce Grove forced a Game 3 with a huge 3-2 victory Saturday night. You can listen to tonight's game live on 107.5 Kiss FM with Todd Miller and Don Klepp starting with the pre game show at 6:45 PM

-Tonight is the Vipers final home game of this season before the remainder of the series shifts to Spruce Grove

-Vernon has the 12th best powerplay in the playoffs

-The Vipers need to get off to a good start and play a full 60 minutes if they want to come away with the victory

-The Vipers have the 6th best penalty kill during the post season

-Kirby Halcrow (12-4 Record) is ranked 4th amongst playoff goaltenders

-Tonight is a key game for both teams. Vernon will be looking for a very important victory as they dont want to head to Spruce Grove down 2-1 in the series
