Key’s and Notes to tonight’s game:
-Vernon needs to get off to a good start like in Game 1 but continue that play for a full 60 minutes
-Specialty teams will be key for both teams
-Who will get the start between the pipes for Vernon? Since acquiring Kirby Halcrow at the December, 1st BCHL card deadline Mark Ferner has rotated his two goaltenders each and every game, will the Vipers continue this trend tonight or will one of these two veteran goaltenders become the Vipers #1 starter for the playoff run? Blake Voth got the start in Game 1
-Vernon’s seven veteran players from last years National Championship team has to show there leadership and use there playoff experience in these playoffs
-The Vipers need to use home ice to their advantage
-Bryce Kakoske is playing his former team
-The Vipers need to use their forecheck and hard work ethic in order to make room and create chances
-Vernon needs to build off of Game 1 and keep the game simple
-The Vipers need to try and get under the skin of the Warriors, who do take some undisaplined penalties at times
-Vernon is going to have to try and find away to get around and through the Westside forecheck
-The Vipers need to jump on a Westside Warriors hockey club that is plying its 5th game in seven nights
