The Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League have signed Former Vernon Vipers forward, Andrew Lord to a contract for the remainder of the 2010-11 season. Lord played two seasons in Vernon (2002-04)

Oklahoma City, OK - The Oklahoma City Barons have signed forward Andrew Lord to a contract for the remainder of the 2010-11, Barons general manager Bill Scott announced today.
Lord, a 6-3, 200-pounder from West Vancouver, BC, signed a PTO with the Barons December 27. With Oklahoma City, he has recorded four assists and served 41 penalty minutes in 17 games played. Prior to joining the Barons, he was played in 26 games with the Wheeling Nailers, where he scored 19 points (7-12-19) and served 74 penalty minutes.
"We are very pleased to announce that Andrew Lord has signed a contract with us for the rest of the season," said Scott. "Since Andrew signed his PTO after Christmas he has brought a lot of energy and hard work to our locker room. His hard-nosed game, willingness to stick up for his teammates and his outstanding work in the community have made him a valuable player to our organization."
