This is Dean McCammond’s connections coming through! His former teammate and long time NHLer David Clarkson is the owner of that Colorado team. Nice to see the team already allowing Dean to take some reigns

I like the sounds of this kid. Bringing in a veteran forward for a late season playoff push. He's big, has some size, and has put up good numbers the last three seasons. Looking forward to seeing him play and seeing what he can bring to the Vipers lineup.

This season has been a complete disaster and I'm starting to lose interest real fast. Not only is the team no good, I'm getting sick and tired of all the roster changes. Players coming and going every week. It's hard to follow the team, with the team struggling this is one of Vernon's worst teams in franchise history. Going to the games aren't fun anymore, the hockey isn't exciting, on most nights the Vipers end up losing, and the games aren't even close. There hasn't been a whole lot to cheer about this season, there haven't been many exciting games and the team isn't improving. I will be the first to admit I have been spoiled watching a Vernon Lakers and Vernon Vipers dynasty. I got to watch Vernon win six National Championships and witness history on more then one account. The Vipers haven't had a good team or a competitive team since the Vipers went to the league finals in 2019. The Vipers haven't put together a competitive team since 2018-19. The Vipers have been mediocre/average at best the past six seasons and have been no where close to compete vs the leagues better teams, challenge for a Division title, or even come close to a league championship. The Vipers poor recruiting has cost them and there record and short playoff runs have proved that. The past six seasons the Vipers were getting out coached on most nights. I don't expect a winning team every season but put together a competitive team that is fun to watch, exciting and can at least compete on most nights

Not sure Dean has had much to do with this. Grolnic went to the Colorado Grit when he quit.
It feels like a quite trade.
