The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. Competitively, it is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The league serves as a farm system to the AHL and the National Hockey League (NHL).

Osik started the 2024-25 season with the SPHL Knoxville Ice Bears. This is Osik's second season with the Ice Bears. In 32 games, Osik has (10-goals-18-assists-28-points).
Osik has played parts of the last four seasons in the SPHL & ECHL with three different teams (Evansville Thunderbolts, Worcester Railers & Knoxville Ice Bears). The SPHL (formerly the Southern Professional Hockey League) is a professional ice hockey independent minor league based in Huntersville, North Carolina, with teams located primarily in the southeastern United States as well as Illinois and Indiana in the midwestern United States.
Osik played four seasons with UMass-Lowell and Long Island University before signing his first professional contract with the SPHL Evansville Thunderbolts in 2022.
Osik was recruited by the Vernon Vipers, committed to the Vipers for the 2016-17 season. Osik was released by the Vipers to the Chilliwack Chiefs in early November 2016. It was reported Osik was released so the Vipers could get down to the minimum 22-man roster. In 15 games with the Vipers, Osik collected (2-goals-3-assists-5-points).
