Sad to see Almen leave. I liked Almen and thought he played well in most of the games he played since joining the Vipers in mid November. Did he leave because he didn't want to play for a team out of the playoffs and near the bottom of the standings or did he think he can have a better opportunity playing with another team? Wishing Corban all the best in his hockey future.

All the best to this young man.
Rumour is he just up and quit.
No college commit WHL off the board for him.
Think he’s ready for family and getting life skills.
Not a bad option.
Wishing you the best in the future young man!

He is back home in Saskatoon playing U18 AAA for the Saskatoon Blazers - probably stopped having fun and he will go light it up and would still have a few years left in the SJHL.

Yes, all good for him. It appears as if he had games in 3 WHL seasons for the Regina Pats which should mean he's eligible for 3 years of Canadian University paid. Vipers will miss him, in his limited time here he impressed a lot of us. Best of luck in his hockey journey.
