I'm sad to see Dunn leave the Vipers. I really liked this kid. Dunn was in and out of the lineup and when in the lineup didn't see a lot of ice time. I wish Dunn played more, I thought he played hard every shift, brought a ton of energy and intensity to the lineup, played with an edge, didn't back down from the after the whistle activities and stood up for his teammates. Again, did he want more ice time and want to play more? Or was he a kid that got tired of losing and wanted out? Wishing Keeghan all the best with his hockey future.
Wish Dunn the best as well, but in my mind the kid was a liability on the ice. Took several stupid penalties in his limited ice time and seemed to play like he was a tough guy which he was not. I think his little herah last game sealed his deal to go. Played the tough guy when we were in the lead. Picked a fight like a showboat he clearly lost, and swung a winning momentum for his team in a very negative way.
To be honest I never really felt that Dunn belonged in this league. I think he tried his best and put in a good effort. I felt he came with attitude and a short fuse which at times cost us as team in the long run. At times his play seemed more like watching a junior B. hockey player. I never was really impressed with his approach to the game or his style of play. I wish his good luck to where ever he goes. GO,VIPERS, GO.
I think that’s outrageous take. I’ve been to multiple vipers practices this year and he was one of the only guys that stood out to me he was always scoring. The kid never got a chance from the start in Vernon I feel bad for him, He looked so promising in pre season and we never saw more because he didn’t play. Ownership is so poor now miss the Wray era and coach is terrible the kid had must potential I have seen for the vipers in a while and he never got a chance to play.
