Gilmour was in his first season with the Vernon Vipers. The Vipers signed Gilmour August 15th 2024. In 1 game with the Vipers, Gilmour went pointless.

Thanks to the Anonymous person who commented on here about an hour ago with the news of Roarke Gilmour no longer on the Vipers roster. I checked the roster late this afternoon and all 25 players were still on the roster.
I know were only two games into the new season but the defensive troubles the Vipers had in those first two games doesn't surprise me of a defenceman either being traded/or released. Head Coach Lukas Lomicky wasn't very pleased with the team in his post game show after Saturday's loss in Cranbrook. With Gilmour gone, this leaves the Vipers with 24 players and room to add or bring in another body.
The roster now has room for another defenseman. And room for a 2004 one. Late WHL cuts are still to be made so I'd expect one of those to be coming.
But, why the hell do the Vipers not post something about this.
I kind of get it for the pre-season but, once the season starts its a totally different ballgame.
They should post something for their fans! I don’t get why they don’t.

Why didn't the Vipers announce what happened with Gilmour? Not only the Vipers but the league website. The league website has a transactions page but is it really a transactions page? Only trades are posted. All trades, player signings, committed players and players released should be on the transactions page.
