Before training camp/the preseason started I the Vipers had twenty seven players already on the roster with players coming back, players acquired over the summer and players committed to the team for the 2024-25 season. I figured the team was set for the start of the 2024-25 regular season, boy was I wrong. Forwards Kole Hyles 06 & Kristian Lamanna 05 both committed to the Vipers, didn't even make the preseason roster, then another recruit Sean Gibbons 05 was released last week before two players returning (Payton Struck & Bronson Ross) were also released. Then within two days, the Vipers bring in/sign two veteran 20 year old forwards. Lots of changes to the roster just days before the regular season starts.
I like the looks of Schumacher. I like the idea of bringing in a veteran 20 year old with some junior hockey experience and not only that but a kid that can produce offensively. Looking forward to seeing what Schumacher brings to the Snakes lineup.
