The British Elite Ice Hockey League Cardiff Devils have re-signed

former Vernon Vipers forward/captain Riley Brandt.

Brandt has played the past three seasons with the Devils. In 53 games last season, Brandt collected (5-goals-5-assists-10-points). The Devils are a professional Welsh ice hockey team that play in the British Elite Ice Hockey League.

Former Vernon Lakers defenceman Todd Kelman will be entering his eleventh season with the Devils. Kelman is part owner and General Manager of the Devils. Kelman played one season in Vernon with the 1992-93 Vernon Lakers.

Brandt played five seasons between Royal Military College & Grant MacEwan University from 2017-2022 before signing his first professional contract with the Devils in 2022. Brandt spent the first three seasons at Royal Military College before committing to Grant MacEwan University in 2020.

Brandt played three seasons in Vernon from 2014-2017. In 140 games with the Vipers, Brandt collected (38-goals-33-assists-71-points). Brandt was captain of the 2016-17 Vernon Vipers in his final year of Junior hockey.
