Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers are coming off a 4-3 overtime win in Victoria last night make their first and only visit of the regular season to the Island Savings Centre.  The Vipers have lost just twice in Cowichan Valley since the 2003-04 season.  Tonight is game two of a three game road trip for Vernon where they play three of the next four games.  The Vipers have won three straight and are unbeaten in their last five games.  Vernon has atleast a point in eleven of their last twelve games is 7-1-2-0 in their last ten games.  The Vipers are just a point back of first place Penticton.  The Vipers have won four of their last six road games and seven of their last ten games away from home.

The Cowichan Valley Capitals return home after a 5-2 loss in Alberni Valley last night splitting the home and home series host the Vernon Vipers in the first game of a current five game home stand.  The 4th place Capitals have one win in their last five games and are 1-9-0-0 in their last ten games.  Cowichan Valley is the second lowest scoring team in the league with just 87 goals.  The Capitals went 2-10 in the month of November.  One of those games was a 5-1 loss in Vernon on November 17th.
