Vipers Complete Trade With Vees

The Vernon Vipers have traded forward Jedd Soleway (94) to the Penticton Vees for forward Dexter Dancs(95)
Soleway was in his second season with the Vipers having recorded 5 goals and 11 assists in 26 games.
Dancs is committed to the University of Michigan for 2014-2015 he has 2 goals and 3 assists while seeing limited time in 24 games. Last season with the Osoyoos Coyotes of the KIJHL Dancs tallied 67 points in 42 games.
He is currently listed as a “C” prospect on NHL Central Scoutings watch List for the 2014 draft.
The Vipers would like to thank Jedd for his contribution to the hockey club and the community and wish him the best of luck in the future.
The last trade between the long time interior division rivals was an October 2003 move that saw the Vipers send defenceman Jason Blucke to Penticton for future considerations.
Dancs is expected to make his Viper debut on Thursday when the Vipers host the Trail Smoke Eaters.
Vipers Add NCAA Forward
The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the addition of 20 year old forward Andrew Tegeler from UMass Amherst of the NCAA.
Tegeler has spent the past two seasons in school however was in search of a change. During the 10-11 season he was a member of the Boston Junior Bruins of the EJHL where he recorded 19 goals and 21 assists in 44 games.
The 6’1 200 pound forward is a product of Sewell New Jersey. Tegeler is expected to make his Viper debut on Friday night in West Kelowna.
