Former Vipers Gill, Collins & Noonan Named Hockey East Weekly Top Performer:

Former Vernon Vipers forwards Mike Collins, Sahir Gill & former Vernon Vipers defencemen Garrett Noonan are three of fourteen players that have been named this week's Hockey East weekly top performers Monday.

Mike Collins fourth time this season being named Hockey Easts weekly top performer notched the game-tying goal against Harvard on Friday night and has 18 points in his last 13 games.  Collins played two season's in Vernon (2008-2010) In 119 regular season games with the Vipers Collins recorded (55-71-126)

Garrett Noonans second time this year being named Hockey Easts weekly top performer scored the game's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Maine and picked up an assist in win at UNH.   His goal vs. Maine extended point streak to five games (1g,4a).  Noonan was drafted by the Nashville Predators in round 4 #112 overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Noonan played one season in Vernon (2009-2010) collecting (2-16-18) in 58 regular season games with the Vipers.

Sahir Gill being named Hockey East weekly top performer for the first time this season scored a goal, added an assist and had a plus-2 rating in the Terriers' 3-2 victory over top-ranked UNH on Thursday. Gill played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2008-2010) In 71 regular season games with the Vipers Gill recorded (21-30-42).
