Van Teeling Returns

The Dauphin Kings are proud to announce they have acquired former King forward, 19 year old Mitch Van Teeling from the Vernon Vipers for future considerations.

Van Teeling a 6’1” 190lb forward from Brandon, Manitoba, played for the Kings from 2010-2012. During that time he put up 24 goals and 57 assists in 115 games for the Kings.  Van Teeling was also a member Team West in the World U-17’s in 2010 and Canada West in 2011 at the World Junior A Challenge.

“We are ecstatic to have Mitch returning to the Kings.” Said Kings Head Coach/GM, Marlin Murray. “Mitch is a proven top two-way forward in the MJHL.  He is very well liked in the dressing room and is one of those low maintenance players that never takes a day off. The trade upgrades us this year and gives us a significant piece for next season as we host the WCC. He will definitely be in discussion when we look to name a captain next season.”

The Kings would like to welcome Mitch and his family back to the organization.
