Former Vernon Laker David Oliver Talks Monsters Growth:

Doug Plagens interviews former Vernon Lakers forward David Oliver about the evolution of the AHL Lake Erie Monsters and the current culture and outlook of the 2012-13 team.  Oliver is an assistant coach and director of AHL Operations with the  Monsters.  Oliver played two years in Vernon (1988-1990) with the Vernon Lakers. Oliver collected (92-86-178) in 116 regular season games with the Lakers before playing four years at the University of Michigan. Oliver was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in round 7 #144 overall at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
