I watched tonight's game on FloHockey. A good 1st period by the Vipers who were the better team and up 1-0. The 2nd period cost the Snakes the hockey game as it was all Brooks in a period they were by far the better team. Vernon responded and played well in the 3rd but come up short by two goals. Another game, another loss. The Vipers have lost seven straight games and are near the bottom of the league standings. Only Surrey and Powell River have fewer wins.

No offence to Oliver Kanat but I was a little surprised he finished the game. I thought he would have gotten the 3rd period off in a 5-2 game.

I noticed Leon Bussmann who was signed on Friday, has his name on his jersey but Rasmus Dahlqvist who was acquired in a trade with Coquitlam last weekend, has no name on his jersey.

Were seventeen games into the season and Vernon has just three wins. This team plays hard, competes and is in almost every game and could have easily won more games then they have but at the end of the day, continue to struggle to win hockey games. Recruiting/scouting are a major factor in junior hockey and something that has hurt the Vipers the past several years and I think again this season. The Snakes have struggled scoring this year and don't seem to have the overall skill/talent that most of the other teams have.

Ya, three wins, parents weekend coming up, we all know what that means, two more loses!

I kind of figured they would lose that’s why I went to the doobie brothers tribute band last night instead of listening to the Vipers lose. This is exactly like last year, we need about four snipers as we can’t score. Looks like another losing season unless we get some snipers

I listened to the game on radio. Ya that was a brutal loss. And those 2 goals 31 secs into the 2nd period ugly not good boys. Hallwig not happy he said there’s going to be changes. Enough is enough I guess. They should give the Russian goalie some goal time this weekend

Do they lack talent ?? I think other teams are on par with Vipers skill wise. Maybe players are too afraid to make a mistake and are playing a bit tight. Players seem to come and go. It’s a constant audition with this team.
