OMG! seriously, a team that desperately NEEDS a scoring touch, this trade does not fit the bill, 14 games, 4 points, give me a break!

Petruk has some size but hasn't been very productive offensively in junior hockey. His most offensive season was in 2021-22 when he put up 22 pts with the Valley West Giants U18 AAA team. This is Petruk's fourth team in four years. The Vipers have twelve players who have 4 or less points, so what does bringing in another kid with 4 pts do? How does bringing in a kid with 4 pts this year, help a team that only has 3 wins? I don't understand this trade.

I heard today 20 year old goaltender Maxim Abdullayev is no longer with the Vipers.

For a second straight season Vipers fans see lots of trades/roster moves. Several players that were brought in after the season started, are no longer with the team. You have to question why they were brought in in the first place? A couple of players have played well and helped but most haven't done much and are no longer on the roster.

I heard over the summer, former Vernon Laker Rylan Ferster applied for the Vipers coaching position, but the Vipers went with Matt Cooke. Ferster later was hired as Head Coach/GM of the Kelowna Chiefs. The Chiefs are 12-2-1-0 are 6th overall in the KIJHL
