The West Kelowna Warriors have placed former Vernon Vipers

forward Ethan Merner on the 30-day injured reserve.

Merner is in his first season with the West Kelowna Warriors. In 6 games, Merner has (4-goals-6-assists-10-points).
Merner started the 2025-26 season with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen before the Langley Rivermen traded his playing rights to the West Kelowna Warriors October 4th 2025.
Merner split the 2024-25 season with the Langley Rivermen & Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. Merner started the 2024-25 season with the Langley Rivermen, before signing with the Calgary Hitmen January 9th 2025.
Since leaving the Vernon Vipers after the 2022-23 season, the Warriors are Merner's fourth team.
Merner has committed to Merrimack College for the 2026-27 season.
Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.
