It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Lloyd Vernon Claffey on October 23rd, 2018 in Kelowna, BC. Lloyd had a passion for all sports but especially for Hockey and followed the Vernon Vipers closely attending several Royal Bank Cups. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with family, and enjoyed cruising. Prior to Edna’s passing they travelled extensively and were Elite club members with Princess Cruise lines.

He is survived by: Daughters Lavina (Erv) Daskis, Cherryl (Bjorn) Engum, Amber Grove, Patrice (Nathan) Davies. Grandchildren: Julie Smithers, Lisa McPhee, Geordy and Teila Smart, Justin and Jacobie Grove, Christopher, Megan and Adam Davies. Brothers Ken (Annette) Claffey and Orville Claffey and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Edna M Claffey, his parents Vernon and Joyce Claffey, brothers Brian, Larry, Mervin and Virgil Claffey.

A joint celebration of Life for Lloyd and Edna will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so can make a donation to the Diabetes Association.
