Official ECAC Hockey Release

ALBANY, N.Y. – All 26 members of the Dartmouth men's hockey team earned spots on the 2017-18 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

This is the first time in recent memory that the entirety of the team's roster earned the distinction in a season.

Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters. One student-athlete from each institution was honored on the Commissioner's List showcasing each program's top scholar from the 2017-18 season. Dartmouth's honoree this season was senior goaltender Devin Buffalo, who was also recognized as a Winter Academic All-Ivy League selection for his efforts in the classroom.

Buffalo and Corey Kalk were both recognized for the fourth time since joining the team in 2014. All five members of the junior class earned the distinction for the third time in as many years, while the 11-member sophomore class was featured in whole for the second straight year.
