The defending Interior Division Champion Vernon Vipers make their first and only regular season visit to the Q Centre are coming off a 2-0 loss in West Kelowna Tuesday.  Tonight is the third game of a six game road trip where the Vipers are 0-2.  Vernon has lost six of their last eight road games.  Tonight is the third and final meeting of the regular season with these two teams with the season series tied 1-1.  The Vipers lost 5-4 in overtime to the Grizzlies back in September at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack beat Victoria at home in November 5-1.  Vernon has lost three straight for just the second time this season have been shutout in their last three games.  The Vipers sit 2nd in the Interior Division are nine points up on Merritt & West Kelowna but fifteen points back of Division leading Penticton.  The Vipers have lost three of their last five games are 6-4-0-0 in their last ten games. 

Thomas Aldworth (34-16-50) leads the team in goals with thirty four while Liam Coughlin (18-36-54) leads the team in points with fifty four.

Mitch Meek played parts of three seasons in Victoria (2012-2014) playing in 92 games with the Grizzlies before being traded to Vernon on October 8th.

Brandon Egli played parts of two seasons in Victoria before being traded to Vernon along with Mitch Meek on October 8th.

The defending Island Division Pennent winning Victoria Grizzlies are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss in Nanaimo Wednesday.  Tonight is the first of a four game home stand where the Grizzlies have won three straight and five of their last six.  Victoria sits 3rd in the Island Division are six points up on Alberni Valley and four points back of Powell River.  The Grizzlies have won three of their last five and are 5-3-0-2 in their last ten games.

Brett Gruber (30-23-53) leads the team lead in goals with thirty while Dane Gibson (25-44-69) leads Victoria in points with sixty nine.

Michael Stiliadis played in three games last season with the Vipers before being traded to the MJHL Dauphin Kings.
