The defending Interior Division Champion Vernon Vipers make their first and only regular season visit to the Q Centre are coming off a 2-0 loss in West Kelowna Tuesday. Tonight is the third game of a six game road trip where the Vipers are 0-2. Vernon has lost six of their last eight road games. Tonight is the third and final meeting of the regular season with these two teams with the season series tied 1-1. The Vipers lost 5-4 in overtime to the Grizzlies back in September at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack beat Victoria at home in November 5-1. Vernon has lost three straight for just the second time this season have been shutout in their last three games. The Vipers sit 2nd in the Interior Division are nine points up on Merritt & West Kelowna but fifteen points back of Division leading Penticton. The Vipers have lost three of their last five games are 6-4-0-0 in their last ten games.
Thomas Aldworth (34-16-50) leads the team in goals with thirty four while Liam Coughlin (18-36-54) leads the team in points with fifty four.
Mitch Meek played parts of three seasons in Victoria (2012-2014) playing in 92 games with the Grizzlies before being traded to Vernon on October 8th.
