Vipers Name 2014-15 Captains

The Vernon Vipers Hockey Club is excited to announce Riley Guenther, TJ Dumonceaux, and Kenny Citron will serve as the team Captains for the upcoming season.

Head Coach and General Manager Jason Williamson says “Our team is in great shape with this core group of leaders. They all play the game at a very high level and compete each and every day at an even higher level. I am extremely excited to be able to lean on these three throughout the season.”

Riley Guenther will serve as the Captain. The Calgary Native has tremendous leadership qualities and leads both on and off the ice. He played on last year’s top D pairing and will be one of the elite defenseman in the BCHL this upcoming season.

TJ Dumonceaux will be one of the alternate Captains. The third year Viper has become a fan favourite and is a very exciting player to watch each and every night. His speed is dangerous each and every night. Dumonceaux is always heavily involved in the community and will be relied in all aspects in the upcoming season.

Ken Citron will also be an alternate Captain. Citron will be entering his second season in Vernon and has quickly become a solid defensive Dman in the BCHL.  Kenny competes very hard each and every day. He has served as a Captain throughout his career and will be relied upon to carry over the Viper culture.
