Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers make their first and only appearance of the regular season to the Frank Crane Arena where they havnt lost in six years.  The Vipers have won seven straight over the Clippers going back to the 2009-2010 season.  The Vipers come into tonight's game riding a five game winning streak after a huge 2-1 upset win in Powell River last night.  This is Vernon's first five game winning streak since the 2011-12 season when they won five straight in late January-early February.  Tonight is game two of a four game road trip for the Vipers where they have won three straight away from home.  Vernon has climbed from last in the Interior Division into a tie with West Kelowna for 2nd place after winning seven of their last nine games.  Michael McNicholas, Josh Bryan and Mason Blacklock will face their former team tonight.

Lets take a look at the Nanaimo Clippers:

The Nanaimo Clippers return home after snapping their losing skid with a 7-5 victory in Alberni Valley last night.  The 4th place Clippers host Vernon tonight before returning to the road for a two game road trip.  Nanaimo a game below 500 has just two wins in their last seven games.  The Clippers also have just two wins in seven home games this season.  The Clippers last win at home over the Vipers was six years ago in November 2007.  Mike Vandekamp will face his former team (Coached the Vipers from 2001-2004).
