In this episode of Building A Champion: Road To The RBC, The Vernon Vipers travel to Salmon Arm to face the Silverbacks in a BCHL pre-season game. Its also the first meeting between the two teams since the Silverbacks hired Viper scout Larry Black and former captain Kevin Kraus as an assistant coach.
The Silverbacks are coached and managed by one time Vipers bench boss and GM Troy Mick. Meanwhile his son Logan Mick plays for the Vipers…so you talk about a ready made rivalry.
