I grew up in Vernon and remember Jack Marsh big time as I went to school with him and Bob Craig, who was my favourite player. I was big into the Essos back in those days, going to almost every home game. We would all go to Dye's pool hall lots, that's where all the Esso's use to hang out. After high school, I eventually moved to Kelowna and have been here ever since. When I first moved to Kelowna, I couldn't cheer for the Buckaroos as I was such a huge Essos fan growing up. It wasn't until Kelowna got a WHL team (Kelowna Wings) when I started cheering for Kelowna and now cheer for and follow the West Kelowna Warriors.
