When the Vipers acquired Keaton Dowhaniuk, Marko Stojkov and Edvin Nilsson, eventually Vernon had 9 defencemen, so you knew changes were coming on the blueline. I was expecting big things from Holt this season. He's big, has size, can fight, and from watching video/clips of him play last season, he looks like he's a physical d-man. Holt didn't see a lot of ice time, and didn't seem to use his size/physicality. I was expecting him to be a physical/punishing d-man with a bit of nasty on the backend. Wishing Isaac all the best in Prince George.
I agree with your comment. It is hard to play your game when you’re sitting on the bench.Sitting out for a period and a half and being put out for the last 40 seconds serves what purpose.Three shifts in a game doesn’t allow a great deal of time to do your thing.Regretfully, impulsive decisions by coaches can play on one’s psyche! Understandably, not winning places a lot of pressure on the coaching staff who on occasion fail to realize that player confidence is an important ingredient in success. There is no I In Team! I trust and hope that their transactions lead to success! Go Vipers Go!
