Yes, "A new era begins". How exciting... not for me!!! I chuckle when I see how many fans are getting excited about the "new era". This will probably mean new uniforms, possibly new colors, possibly a new mascot & possibly a new name change. The Viper brass is trying to rally up the fans and excite us after another dismal season. This big hype will last until the losses start piling up again, I hope I am wrong. Personally I get excited about the product on the ice regardless of how fancy the uni's are. Viper Head Office is trying hard to get us excited about the upcoming season so I will give them credit. I hope it works out well instead of fizzling out. We are long overdue for a winning season and that, in my estimation, will bring long lasting hype. When the team starts performing consistently the fans will go home feeling entertained. That will put butts back in the seats, not glitter & tacky slogans.

and besides, the rebrand will more than likely mean more merch sales because after 30 years as Vipers everyone and their dog has that logo.
Very cool! Can’t wait
