1075 KISS FM and the Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce a brand new hockey broadcast agreement.
KISS FM will be carrying Vipers hockey for the next three years after a deal was inked that would see the Vernon radio station retain the broadcast rights until spring of 2018.
Sales Manager Andrew Laird, who was instrumental in working out the new deal, says the station is excited to once again be 'the home for Vernon Viper's hockey.'
“Having held the ‘Local First’ title in the community for a generation now, Vernon’s first radio station is extremely pleased to secure another long term contract as the official Voice Of the Vipers. At KISS FM , we strive to bring together the sponsor partnerships that keep Vernon Vipers broadcasts engaging and original as we augment the play by play with contests and features, plus maintain a strong community presences with the KISS FM Events Crew at home games throughout the season. It’s as Canadian as a partnership can be!”
The station is also looking forward to the return of Graham Turnbull who will resume his duties behind the microphone.
The first broadcast will be September 11th, 2015 when the Vernon Vipers open the 2015-16 season against the Trail Smoke Eaters.
