Capitals add size with Bigos
Saturday, 27 June 2015
Edinburgh Capitals have signed 6ft 5" 240lb defenceman Kyle Bigos. The fourth round Edmonton Oliers draft pick played for the Ontario Reign in the ECHL and the Worcester Sharks of the AHL.
Riley Emmerson said, "Adding Kyle as our 4th D signed is huge. He is a fantastic defence man that is going to be great for Edinburgh. He brings everything to our club size, strength, strong in the defensive zone, and a great first pass. He also adds a big shot from the point and even more character to our locker room. He's a man with a big, strong body who enjoys the physical side of the game, he hits hard and he finishes his checks. He's going to be a defensive force. From playing with and against Kyle I know he is going to make our club that much stronger.
Kyle Bigos said, "I am very excited for the opportunity to be apart of the Edinburgh Capitals. I look forward to joining my team mates later this summer and start our journey towards a championship."
