The Vernon Vipers got an early Christmas gift. The team has announced that Dylan Walchuk will be returning to the Vernon Vipers and will be the line up tomorrow afternoon. The 19-year old forward who put up 56 points in 55 games last year has decided to leave Northern Michigan University and return to the snakes. Vipers GM and Head coach Jason Williamson confirms the Mcbride B.C. native will be returning to the team.

"Whenever you can add a player of Dylan Walchuk's calibre you have to do it. He wants to come and be a Vernon Viper again and we are going to welcome him with open arms" says Williamson.

"We've lost a lot of one goal hockey games and he's probably the difference in those games. Arguably one of the best players in the league. It's like a deadline trade but you don't have to give up anything."

Walchuk is expected to be in the line-up tomorrow afternoon when the Vipers play host to Chilliwack at 2pm at the Wesbild Centre.
