Eagles Sign Former Vipers Defenceman Waddell:

The Pontebba Eagles of Italy have signed former Vernon Vipers defenceman, Matt Waddell. Waddell played two years in Vernon (2001-2003) before playing four years at Ohio State University.

17/09/2011 - Eagles, unveiled the first arrivals of new season

Two Canadians (one goalkeeper and a defender) and two Americans (a defender and a striker): these are the first names that come out of the hat Ice Hockey FVG and that would make the Eagles roster of the 2011/2012 season.

The first name is Alex Petizian, young goalkeeper Canadian try-out contract. The twenty-four (born March 9, 1987) has returned from two years of attendance in the American Hockey League with the Rochester Americans. Alex proved very successful in the NCAA (the league university) where he played at St. Lawrence University. In the 2006/2007 season has joined the All-Rookie Team NCAA.

The first defender that has come to be called Pontefract Matt Waddell and he comes from the country of the maple trees. For the 27 year old physique (185 centimeters by 93 kilograms) will be the fourth season in Europe after those played in Sweden with the coat of Boras, Finland
