Former Vipers Roy & Switzer In AJHL Top 30 In Scoring:


Former Vernon Vipers forward, Kory Roy is in his second season with the AJHL Canmore Eagles and is currently 7th in league scoring (22-24-46) Roy played just one season in Vernon (2008-09) before being traded to Canmore in August of 2009 along with future considerations for defenceman, Dan Nycholat. Last year Roy collected (11-27-38) in 57 games with the Eagles. Roy is third in team scoring playing in his final year of Junior hockey.

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Brett Switzer is in his third season with the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints and is currently 29th in league scoring (18-18-36) Switzer was recruited by the Vipers, but played in just a few games in Vernon (2008-09) before being traded on September, 16th 2008 to the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints in a three team trade wich landed the Vipers forward, Bryce Kakoske from the Surrey Eagles. Last year Switzer collected (13-14-27) Switzer and the Saints lost in Game 7 to the Vipers in the Doyle Cup final. Switzer is in his final year of Junior hockey, before heading to Yale University next season.
