Former Viper Lord Loaned To Oklahoma City:

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Andrew Lord has been loaned to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League. Lord played two seasons in Vernon (2002-04) and is in his third season with the ECHL Wheeling Nailers. Lord was named captain of the Nailers back on, November 16th.

WHEELING, WV – The Wheeling Nailers announced today, team captain Andrew Lord has been loaned to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.


Lord joins the Edmonton Oilers farm team leading the Nailers in penalty minutes (74) and game winning goals (3) while also standing in third place on the team in points (19). Lord played in two games earlier this season with the Milwaukee Admirals amassing 5 penalty minutes. He is in his third season with the Nailers, serving his second as team captain.
