Former Vernon Vipers goaltender, Mark Sibbald signed with the SPHL Huntsville Havoc back in late October. This is Sibbalds second go around with the Havoc. Sibbald is 7-3 this season with a 2.38 GAA and is the leagues second best goaltender. Sibbald played two seasons in Vernon (2003-05) before playing four years at Brown University. Sibbald signed with the Wichita Thunder back on September, 27th 2010 but was released just before the start of the regular season on October, 14th 2010. Sibbald split time among three teams and two leagues in 2009-10. The Ridgeway, Ontario native opened, and finished, his rookie campaign with eventual SPHL champion Huntsville. Sibbald anchored the Havoc crease with a 2.82 goals against average and a .910 save percentage that produced a 15-4-3 record. In between his tours with Huntsville, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Sibbald was 5-4-1 during an 11-game stint for the Mississippi RiverKings, including a stretch where he won five consecutive starts in an eight-day span from January 22nd-29th. The 26-year old also appeared in one game for the Laredo Bucks.
