Former Vernon Vipers forward, Aaron Volpatti has been recalled by the Vancouver Canucks. Volpatti played three season's in Vernon (2003-05) before playing four years at Brown University.

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that forward Aaron Volpatti has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Jonas Andersson has been reassigned.
Volpatti, 24, has played in 26 games with the Manitoba Moose this season, registering six assists and 44 penalty minutes. The 6’1”, 185-pound forward played four years with Brown University, serving as captain in his senior year. He registered 62 points (32-30-62) and 236 penalty minutes in 123 career college games. The Revelstoke, BC native was signed by Vancouver on March 22, 2010.
Andersson appeared in four games with the Canucks this season. Registering an average time on ice of 6:03 and a +/- of 1.
