Vernon Vipers & Former Vipers Stanley Cup Predictions:

These were in Sundays Morning Star Newspaper:

Connor Jones (Vipers forward): "Chicago in 7. I think their top line is going to overmatch Philly's dee, especially on home ice when Pronger can't get out there."

Kyle Bigos (Merrimack Warriors): "Hawks in 7. Byfuglien is a beast and I don't think Philly's defence can hold up against the Hawks' offence. Two really good defensive teams. Niemi is on fire."

Lennie Rampone (former Vipers captain): "Not the Oilers...just kidding...hahah....Hawks in six."

Scott Zurevinski (Quinnipiac Bobcats): "Hawks in 5. Johnny Toews needs his first Cup under his belt and it's bound to happen this year, and Byfuglien snipes game winners so it's impossible to lose."

Al Paterson (retired sports writer & former Vernon Lakers owner): "It won't even be close. Hawks in five because they're that good. Scotty Bowman is behind the scenes in Chi Town, doing what he did in Detroit, Montreal, and St. Loo. Cinderella, aka Michael Leighton, has to be home by midnight and it's five to now. Hawks have no weaknesses and Philly didn't deserve to even be in the playoffs."

Kellen Jones (Vipers forward): "Philly in 6 or 7....can't stop their work ethic!"
