The Vernon Vipers have signed forward David Robinson who should be in the lineup Tuesday night against the Merritt Centennials.
The 19 year old Robinson is a Vernon hockey product who left the WHL's Chilliwack Bruins last month.
As for why he left the Bruins, Robinson said at the time, "It was an extremely difficult decision to make. Everyone in the Bruins organization has been so good to me and I would like to thank everyone for everything they have done for me. I'm really going to miss everyone here. This is a team on the rise and that made my decision that much more difficult."
The 5'11, 180 pound Robinson left as the Bruins all time leader in penalty minutes (265) and ranked second in games played (169).
He previously played for the Vipers several seasons ago, playing on a line with Connor and Kellen Jones in the playoffs.
