Salmon Arm & Vernon Meet In Interior Conference Finals:

The 2nd place Salmon Arm Silverbacks knocked off the 3rd place Westside Warriors last night in five games to take the 2nd Round series 4-1. The Silverbacks defeated the Warriors in Game 5 5-4 in Overtime. Hometown hero Bobby Lipsett scored the OT winner at 3:28 to give the Backs the victory. Colin Lidster, Conor Morrison, Matt Walters & Justin Cseter rounded out the Salmon Arm scoring. Bryan Gillis made 23 saves in the win. Games 1 & 2 of the Interior Conference Finals starts Friday & Saturday at the Wesbild Centre. The Vipers are coming off a 7-1 win last night to knocking off the defending BCHL Champion Penticton Vees in five games. This is just the second Playoff meeting between these two teams.
