I think he's finally realized that the Glenn's are a total embarrassment and have totally destroyed this once proud franchise.

Seems like you have all the answers on how to run it. So easy to make comments from behind a screen. Go find some other team to complain about. This team needs people to rally behind and believe in it. God bless

Not true, just looked and he is still on coaching staff on their website so, you have all been had with an early April Fools joke!!!
No, we've all been had by a team that doesn't update it's information on the internet often enough. But you are right, What's gone on this season is a joke, a bad joke.
One will really never know why Colton came to this decision. We will really never know how much control he had in his career with the vipers. One day long time ago I said to Colton it would be nice if you where the head coach and he said thank you for the support. I think Colton felt the way the vipers where moving was perhaps in the wrong direction and did the graceful thing without a lot of drama and left quietly. Thank you Colton for the effort you put into the viper organization and am sorry you had to leave for your own personal reasons. Good luck in your future. Colton have a good new year.
The Vipers have yet to add assistant coach Eric Morissette to the website who joined the team early in the season
This sucks! I not only liked Colton as a former Viper but also as an Assistant Coach. Colton was a fan favourite when he played here and well liked by the players and fans alike as an Assistant Coach. Wishing Colton all the best in the future.
I wonder if the Vipers will hire another Assistant Coach? or finish the season with the two coaches they have?
Even the Vipers knew the backlash was coming so fans weren't allowed to comment about Sparrow leaving on the teams facebook page. The Vipers posted "Vernon Vipers limited who can comment on this post"

I don’t blame them for limiting comments. In this situation is the old saying, ‘if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.’
Or he is moving into player advising to share his breadth of knowledge in a different way. Sounds like a new opportunity 🤔 which makes more sense for someone who has been part of this community for as long as he has. My guess is he has leveled up or trying something new like advising. Congrats on whatever adventure you have taken!
